i really need ur help guys...
ok... i got back from my vacation and i tried to start up my car... but as expected the battery was dead... so i call acura roadside to get my car started...
so after they get my car running.. something weird starts happening...
the engine starts reving from 1000 to 2100 constantly, over and over again... this happens when the car is in park or in neutral....
and when i tried to drive the car, the engine idles very high....
so after about 30 mins of driving around... the traction control light, the VSA light, and the engine light comes on and stays on....
so i came to the acura dealership to figure out whats going on,.... then
the car won't start up cuz of my alarm.... Clifford Matrix RS3.5 and it seems like the alarm won't disarm and allow me to start up my engine... so now im stuck here at the dealership ...
help guys....thanks

:::::::::EDIT::::::::
ok... never mind about the car not starting....i finally figured out how to disable the alarm by putting it into valet mode....
but i tried starting up the car again and it continues to rev the engine between 1000 and 2100
and the Rpm will not drop below 1000....

its not the tranny if it does it in park or neutral.
you say the battery had to be jumped to get teh car started? just try driving around on it for a little bit. see if the battery just hasnt charged and needs to be charged. you may be running off just the alternator cause the battery may not have charge.
:edit:
If your at teh acura dealer to see whats wrong, why not have them diagnose it and not us? they have teh machines.

Disconnect the battery for half an hour, reconnect and let it idle for about 10 minutes. After the battery was dead for so long, it probably hasn't gone through the proper idle cycle and needs to get that done.
If it still does that, then your idle air control valve might be malfunctioning. You said the MIL came on -- did the dealership scan for the code(s) yet?

ok... back at the dealership... looks like you guys were right on the faulty idle valve.....
i got that replaced under warrenty, and now the car is getting washed...
thanks for your help. even though i was at the dealership, they didn't tell me what was going on so i got a little paranoid.....
and thank god, it wasn't the tranny.... so no tranny club for me...
but it seems that the battery going out and everything has effected my alarm system and i can't get it to disarm with the remote....( any one have the clifford matrix rs3.5 and had this happen to them>?)
but the TL-s is ok so the alarm
ill take care of later.
thanks a bunch
