I love CT in the winter!
These pics barely do the level of dirt & salt on my car right now. I tried to go to the car wash today, but there were 34 (yes, I counted) cars waiting in line before me.
I'm so afraid to have it washed because there is SO much salt on it, I just know it's going to get scratched. Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to clean it when it's this bad?

You should be ashamed of yourself to let your car get that dirty!!!!! hahahah Just Kiddin'. Anyways, you should bring your car to the bay "self-wash" car washes. I believe in the winter time, the water hoses spray out warm water. Just rinse all the salt and dirt off with the high pressure warm water hose.......by then you should be freezin' your a$$ off and just bring your car to the drive thru wash.

That's how my TL looked a few weeks ago in Chicago. It was too darn cold to even attempt to wash it. Wait until you get a decent work day and go to the car wash just before lunch. There usually isn't much of a wait, if any. Good luck!
Don't forget to rinse off the underside and inner wheel wells with high pressure to get rid of the salt there too..

well, got it washed up and beautiful again on Sunday, just in time for more rain. Very sad to say, but it looks close to the pictures at the top again.
I've had enough winter, I'm moving to Florida!
