Sorry to hear that. That stinks. You had the car for a night and the tranny is going. The guy who sold you the car probably knew that the tranny was going and got rid of it...

that sucks! Welcome to the club though! You shouldn't have a problem getting it replaced. Hope you at least get a decent car for the week that your car will be in the shop!

yeah.. the best thing to do is that if you want to start of the right foot do right the first time.. i dunno about tl's tranny being different from our accords.. but at v6p we just designed a bulletproof tranny that is much more capable of handling all the abuse and racin we do. i believe u can still use your sport shift and just replace hte tranny.. go to a tranny mechanic and ask him to replace the tranny w/ the one you buy (the v6p bulletproof tranny) and send the bill to acura.. BUT ask them for approval before spendin out ur cash
cuz if u get it replaced from acura IT WILL go out again and again. these trannys they replace are NOT NEW but just refurbished
