Unhappy Rocks ar Bad

Upon leaving Pepboys this afternoon, I was drawn to the front of my car by some unforeseen force. As I stood there gazing, I soon saw what it was that drew me to the front of the car. My poor grille is damaged. there are several chunks of chromed plastic missing and the "A" is the most damaged part of the entire grille. I can only blame rush-hour traffic and road contruction here in D.C.

Has anyone ever had to replace their front grille? I am sure that the dealership could care less about my current situation. Is there a place to buy the stock grille from, besides an Acura dealer? I see that we sell the gold grille on this web site, but not the chrome. If anyone has a suggestion (or two), I would greatly appreciate it.

Only the grille had chips? When shopping for my TL i became aware that the whole front is really vulerable to rock chips. almost a year and 12+k miles and only 1 chip. This spring i want to have Stongard (a clear plastic semi-permanent adhesive sheet) installed for like $300 to prevent all future chips but i do not beleive that the stongard covers the grille.

After about 20 minutes of inspection, I saw that only the grille was hurt.

I would buy the grille from the dealer (or find it online), and install it myself. It seems really easy. There are plenty of DIYs around that show how to replace the grille.
