My salesperson just called and gave me the VIN number of my black/black TL-S with Nav but she told me the Chicago zone has held up delivery until March 18. Because this is a Sunday, I am going to assume this means the week of March 18. It was built March1-5. I ordered on Aug 24,2000 and put $1,000.00 down. It's been a long wait,so I guess another week will not be so bad.

But arent those last few days the worst??? The closer it gets to dellivery date for me the more antsy I get.

You got that right. I even sold my Legend last week thinking that I would have the TL-S yesterday.

They just keep dragging us along. Did your dealer give any reason for the delay? Did they happen to mention if the delay was for your region only or for all expecting 02 TLs?

Salesperson indicated that the delay was company wide and that the word is no delivey until March 18. I live about one hour from the assembly plant so the cars must be somewhere. She didn't know where. She did say that they have 18 on order and all but four are type S. She said "I guess several trucks will be pulling up all at the same time".

Woah several trucks with TL's all at once, you gotta get a picture man, that would be one emotional moment...

I think the reason for the delay is that the official release date for the new Tl is March 15. Thats just the build date for my ride, and I will unfortunately have about a 2 week further wait while reading you post about how much you love your car. Now thats torture!!

damn, i called my salesman earlier, and he said he still didn't get a MSRP yet. do you guys think he knows it, but just doesn't want to tell me?? anyway, he said it'll be here by the end of the month. <SIGH>

Yup I ordered from Rallye also, its about 10minutes from my house. My salesman was Dick Wilson. One of my good friends had bouight a CL Type-S from him last April, and he came along with me the day I put down my deposit, and Dick was there. Who's your saleman?

yea...these last couple of days have been torture for me too. i try not to come to this site and listen to people getting their cars before i do, but i CAN'T! i've picked up paintballing so that takes my mind off the car a little. (not really) yea we'll probably bump into each other at the dealership when we pick up our sweet ass rides

Nice.. I put my deposit down in January, and I was ok waiting for the car until the last few days when people started posting pics of the car at the dealership, and some were saying they were getting their cars. Now the wait is driving me nuts. Maybe I'll see you around when we have one of our H/A meets
