Exclamation I HATE People who tailgate!!!

As I was driving home today from school, there was some lady driving EXTREMELY close to my TL. I could not even see her headlights. As she followed closer and closer...I drove slower and slower. When we both approched a divided street, she pulled to the left and punched it. Let me tell you...she and her crappy american car was fast!!!! I followed her arround and while doing so...I was pressing the horn the entire time. The horn was honking for about 3 mins strait. I think I tought her a lession...never mess with me and never tailgate.

Once a big ass truck had his headlights blinding the shit out of me, tailgating. We pulled up to a train track and stopped. By the time we could go, I was pissed. I rolled to the other side of the intersection and stopped, so he was stuck on the tracks. He couldn't go around because of cars coming the other direction. I made him sit there for quite a while.

Here what you do to when someone has to tailgate you.

Option A.
1. Press button to fully open sunroof

2. Raise your hand up out of the top of the car.

3. Extend your middle finger.

4. If tailgater still persists, then contintue with Option B.

Option B.
1. Repeat step 1 of option A if not already open.

2. Reach in coin tray and grab handfull, perferably pennies

3. Speed up to get enough speed, and then toss them behind you!

ahahahahaaa

* Just be careful of them crazy road rage people carrying..

Maybe a voice activated command for "kill tailgater" would help...

Ya, people get angry sometimes... but sometimes people deserve to get blasted on! Just this morning, some old bastard in a S430 had his blinker on to change into my lane. It didn't matter that I was passing him at the time, he just came on over. I honked and gave him the finger... I gotta start keeping some rocks or something in my car for these idiots.

Man, if everyone would just drive like I do we'd all get to where we are going alot faster!

the fire thing sounds good! and what I do is either speed up like hell or slow down slowly and when they try to pass me, shift down, floor the car and wave at them with my middle finger.

I wonder if there's a simple way to wire up a rear winshield fluid sprayer angled perfectly at the car behind you. If the car tries to tailgate, just give him a little spray.

And who says you have to use washer fluid? I'd go with maple syrup or that cheapo Aunt Jemaima stuff.

As far as road rage... be careful... a friend of mine was telling me a story... two guys driving in traffic, the guy that was behind was honking his horn at the guy in front for over 5 minutes... when they come to a complete stop the guy fron the front car got out, punched the guy in the rear in the face through his open window, flashed him his police badge and got back to his car... the guy haven't honked again...
As far as tailgating is going... I got to admit I do it sometimes too... when some moron drives very slow in the fast lane or for any other reason I think the guy in front of me could be going faster... about preventing it, I once saw a guy in a Jeep Wrangler with a nice big headlight mounted on the tailgate pointing at the rear car... I bet he can turn it on with a flip of a switch and blind the shit out of the tailgater...

There's two ways I deal with tailgaters:

1. Spray my windshield wiper fluid and as it
hits their windshield watch them drop back like a dog getting pepper sprayed.

2. If I'm in the mood, take it as an instigation for a race!

I don't know, I was doing about 80 (in a 65) the other day and some jerk still decided to tailgate me, and it's not like I could have gone any faster if I wanted to due to traffic.

And even if I was going to slow, people should back the F$%! up and pass because all tailgating's going to do is iss peole off and/or cause a wreck! And since I just got my new TL, then I'd be really pissed off.

Slow drivers anoy the hell out of me, but (not to sound holier than thou) I still manage to keep my cool and wait for a chance to pass them. I'll live longer for it I think.

Only a fool gets upset about something he can not change.

If you honestly think everyone drives too slow, you need to change your attitude about driving; you're never going to convince everyone in the world to go your speed.. and you're not going to change a single person's speed by tailgating.

You might, however:
1) Get a ticket
2) Get into an accident (you fault of course, following too closely)
3) Have a heart attack because you never learned how to relax

Personally, if you've ever tailgated me, I hope you get all three.

Here in Texas we've got that concealed handgun law (like it matters), so now you really have to watch out for yourself. I kinda miss my old Camaro for this very reason. If someone tailgated me in that thing, then they were going to have one F'd up front end -- nuthin' like Detroit steel! All I can say to everybody is to be careful out there and try to kep your cool.

About 7 years ago, I was driving and this a$$hole nearly sideswiped me and cut me off BAD.. I honked like mad and flashed my brights to tell him I wasn't very happy about what he had just done.. We get to a light, I glance and him, and nod my head side to side in disapproval.. The dude gets out of his car, comes to my window, says a few words, I reply to them, punches the window, the glass shatters all over me, cut my lip, parts of my face, and pieces of glass in my eyes, get's back into his car, and drives off. I was stunnned. I got his license plate #, went to the Police, and filed a complaint. To this day, nothing happened

As for Flipping the bird, I refuse to do that(Too dangerous in NY). If someone tailgates me, I:
1) ride the brake with one foot(very lightly, so I'm not really slowing the car down, just getting the sensor to activate the brake lights) while on the gas with the other foot.. If they don't stop tailgating me, I
2) turn on my hazard lights and start to slow down until he pulls back, eventually they change lanes, then I
3) stomp on the gas to my normal speed.

in NYC - if you start carrying out that A & B plan - you might as well add C to it: call 911 and tell them you are hurt - because even if you are not - you are about to be. Just a couple of weeks ago I have witnessed the most bizzare case of road rage: when I got onto the Belt Parkway (just a highway here in Brooklyn) it was about 2AM on Friday night - We were going home from my friend's house (me & my girl) - there were two cars in front of me, and the drivers were having a very angry conversation from what I could see - the two of them were taking up the two right lanes going about 55 miles per hour. I had a little to drink - and now NYC is a cop City so I took it easy - 60mph - no more. I was gaining on them a little. They were cursing and showing fingers to each other when all of the sudden (the two cars by the way were Accord Coupe and 4th Gen. Maxima) the rear window of the Max rolls down and a guy who was sitting there just smashed the Accord with a club. WOW. Then the Max just took off - and that's just the beginning. Obviously, before anybody knows it - all three of us are going over 100 mph - on belt - NOT the best highway to drive fast on and TONS of cops around - moreover on Friday night (early Sat morning). These two monkeys are all over the highway - all three lanes sometimes - I follow them - and then boom: my radar indicates cops straight ahead - what do I do - I slow the F..k down - what do they do - they both get pulled over and from probably arrested. Anyway, that was a fun night - even though my girlfriend did not think so.

Sometimes - its better to just ignore.
