I hate Canadian winter!
A few days ago I was following a semi, then all of a sudden a huge chunk of ice dropped off the truck bed underside and I was heading straight at it at about 80 mph. There were cars besides me both sides so I had no where to go but to run through it. It hit my front bumper and got to the oil pan. I heard this hollow sound first (ice hitting bumper) then a soild thump+shock from under the hood (the oil pan). I checked my mirror then I see the ice shattered in pieces so I knew it must have hit something hard (that something being my car!
) Then when I parked my car I checked my car and luckily it seemed fine. There was no damage to the bumper and I didn't see anything loose or leaking under the engine. I'm going to take a look next time when I got my car jacked up. Argh I hate Canadian winter!
If I had the bodykit I'm sure it'll be gone

I think that we need to distinguish the difference between a Vancouver Canadian winter and the rest of the Country, Canadian winter.
For over the past week, our Vancouver Canadian Winter has been nice and sunny with no sign of snow!!!
:p
Anyways, sucks to hear about your car. Good thing there's no damage!

Hey BC'ers,
Quit rubbing it in. TO is a lot worse than Windsor. But Tatewaki -- you gotta keep a heads up on trucks / semi's! I avoid following them like the plague (esp at 130+ km/h). Probably headed up to TO next month (Feb4-5) for a conference. I'll give you guys a shout. Headed to Singapore tomorrow!
Take care fellas.

I just want the snow to go away so I can keep the car clean for more than a day.

For severe winters, I would not recommend A/S tires.
