I got something in the mail today.....

After waiting over a week, my Comptech Springs came in! I'm getting em installed Saturday morning at Park Ave Acura. I will post some before and after pics. Finally my car won't look like a 4X4

Good good, there's nothing but good on that. I only wish I could install them on my car. The height of our car's are the only thing that doesn't agree with me, I hate how the gap (especially the front) makes it look like a Acura TL-S Outback Edition

Not only is it gonna look sweet, it's gonna handle that much nicer!

Man, Canadian Custom is gonna charge me an arm and a leg when I am getting Comptech Springs shipped to me...

Finally got it done! I'm very satisfied w/the springs. It does seem a lil more bumpy, but it handles and looks much better. Next on my list is sways.

By the way, PARK AVE ACURA is the best! Incredible service! Wayne, Jens, and Peter were great. I was in and out w/in 2.5 hours. Those guys were so neat and after I was done, I received a t-shirt, first aid kit, and an EZ Pass holder. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Great job Park Ave!

What are you going to do with your stock springs?

Are you going to sell them?
By the way, did the dealer charge you for the labor?

I'm going to keep my stock springs so that when time comes to sell my baby, I will switch it back to stock.

Park Ave Acura charged me $220 for labor and $49.95 for alignment.

I bought my Comptech springs from Tim

Well I donno if you guys have EZ PASS in CA. In NY, instead of stopping to pay toll, we can just register and get a little device we attach to the windshield. When you go into the EZ PASS lane, it will automatically charge the toll to your credit card.

The holder is just a nicer way to stick it onto the windshield, instead of using tape and velcro

Looking good! I'm waiting on my H&R's. Should be here any day. Can't wait!

Btw, $220? That's expensive. I've been quoted $125 from the local motorsports shop (a very reputable place -- do the SA Spurs cars, etc.). Just thought I'd mention that.

Thanks for the comment!

I might have paid a little more money, but Park Ave Acura will still give me the factory warranty (4 yrs or 50k miles) and I know they do excellent work. I know if they mess up, they will take care of it. Keep in mind that they have to take out your rear leather seats. Also, they give out loaner cars. I don't mind paying $95 extra for that.

PS Post pics up when you get it done!

carfreak, I'm glad you and MR. Hyde have had really good experiences at Park Ave Acura. I just got my comptech springs and sways ( I think from tim, www.autocarparts.com ?) in the mail on friday. Spoke with Peter and Wayne, I'm set to get my stuff installed on monday the 13th... Gonna get a loner for the day, gotta be at work. (that's almost a spooky date but not quite... )

Can't wait for these things to go in!!!
