Ok so I had the get the SmartWindow modules from Clifford, but damn it's sweet.
1) One touch up and down from any window switch, including passenger's switches.
2) Auto up of all windows when alarm is triggered.
3) Crack all windows after alarm is armed - working on this one, just need to program the Clifford remote
4) Auto down all windows after disarming - working on this one too - need to program the remote
=============================================
Ok, I know someone's gonna ask this, I've already researched it for you.
NO, you cannot just add the SmartWindow modules to the existing OEM alarm, you have to buy a Clifford.

I actually stole my SmartWindows II modules off my old car. You can't get those anymore. The latest version, SmartWindows IV modules I think are around $250, if you can find them. One module controls 2 windows.
Clifford gear is tough to find since DEI took them over.

If anyone is interested, I am gonna make auto-up/down modules in the near future as part of my product lineup on www.controlgenie.com
will work for windows and sunroofs.
They will work with any car and dont need any other components. They could either work off existing buttons (in this case, when the module is enabled, the down-button would be ONLY one-touch. but of course, you can just turn the module off), or they can work off of a separate button panel.
If any of you are interested, email me at info@controlgenie.com (this way, when they're available, i'll email you all)
(oh .. and cost should be less than $250

Hey Fiddler, if you could figure out how to do one touch to close the sunroof, that would be cool.
Clifford says because our roof has tilt and slide, you'd have to do some funky programming to get it to work.
When they hooked the Smartwindow module to it, it closed, but then it tilted up and stopped. That's the problem they said they had and could not get it to stop at the closed point.

I already have this working as part of the prototype voice recognition unit in my car.
The difference, is that I dont want to use expensive electronics in such a simple module so I'm gonna design something simpler.
Do you know how the clifford system hooks into the system? does it communicate to the windows throught the computer or directly taps the window modules?

I believe the new versions of SmartWindows connects directly to the Clifford brain. The version I had, he had to take the door apart, so I figure he wired it into the window module.

Believe me, I wouldn't have paid that. I had the modules from my old car and I'm sure I paid a heck of a lot less than that for them.

If you hold the window button down, when you release it does the window stop?
Adding windows down from the remote and close on arm was what made my alarm cost so damn much. But it's cool!
This is true of most cars, but not ours. I think Clifford just doesn't like messing with sunroofs because most cars won't work. Open your sunroof and then hold down the close button. It closes and stops. Open the sunroof vent and hold the close button. It closes and stops. I think a lot of cars use the close button to vent if pressed when its already closed.
My sunroof closes when I arm the car. There are 2 timers, one gives the sunroof power so you can do this without the key in the car. The other timer gives power to the sunroof to close. Thats it. It closes from all locations - half open, fully open, vent, etc - and stops when it gets closed, even though the timer keeps giving it power for the set amount of time.
Having the sunroof open should be about the same deal, though I can't say for sure. Good luck! Let us know how it turns out, I'm thinking it might be nice for the sunroof to open when I roll down all the windows.
Also would be really nice for one touch sunroof open/close from the dash button. Should be a matter of just one timer for open and one for close (and I already have the one for close!) since we're for sure there is power. I wouldn't care if I couldn't open my sunroof half way, why would I want to do that anyway?

I've had that option on my Viper alarm since last year! Yes! It's very cool feature, in fact, I had it done on my S2K with an Alpine alarm too!
Mine do stop after holding it down for awhile. All four controls work the same.
Don't have the sunroof option though. Didn't think it would be useful. Plus, ran out of channels on the remote!
