Opps, forgot.

Gold, no navi. I want navi but i'm really stretching funds big time. Already not too comfortable. Sacrifies must be made.

I have a grey car now, and just like black, agean blue and other nice/dark colors you see swirls after washing the car. It drives me nuts so I decided to go with a color that wouldn't show the swirls.

Should've got the Nav, you don't want to regret it later... Think about it this way, it will only increase your monthly payment by about $40.. Just don't eat out as much..

Wish I knew about this site before I go my TL.

Yeah, swirls are the pits.... There are things you can do to prevent it, but if you get swirls they can be tough to get out.

What do you recommend? I usually wash my car with the soapy stuff. Then I wash it again with plain water. Then I use Mcguires synthetic wax and if I'm not passed out from exhaustion Mcguires quick detailer. It seems that even 100% cotton cloth scratch this lousy paint.
Paint used to have 3 coats and lead, it rocked. Now the government doesn't let them put lead in the paint so its more apt to flake. No clue why they dont do 3 coats anymore. As far as I'm concerned for the ammount of money we pay for these cars there should be 4 or 5 coats.
I was going to go buy car care products this weekend in anticipation of my pickup. Thinking more mcguires stuff, and possibly lexol for the leather, unless you think mcguires leather care is as good. Oh yea, and good ol tire black.
Anything else I should get?
