any of you guys that have the 02 style taillights change the trusignal bulb to hyper white?
or do u guys leave it orange

i just upgraded to the 02 style tailights, so I am debating whether to use hyper white or orange

any comments on how they would look?

it would look awesome and will match the front hyper white signals. but you are likely to get pulled over...

Mine has a purplish tint to them.
BTW, what is the purpose of changing to 02 tails to have orange bulbs. CHANGE THE BULBS!!!

the reason i wanted to leave them orange was because the hyper white does not look good blinking in the day, but at night it looks real good, but its too bight.

but i think i am gonna go with hyper white

The legs on the 02 bulbs are different of the ordinary ones you can buy from outside, you can't really fit any bulb inthe the little sockets... probably need some mod. to the socket or the buld legs itself.

I had polarg hyperwhites and got pulled over. so i changed them. last weekend i got stopped at a drunk driving checkpoint and the cop asked me to put on my signal. He said if the bulb wasnt orange he would have given me a ticket.

also, i think it looks good anyway with the clear top. I dont mind the orange bulb.
He didnt say anything about my hyperwhite front signals though.

I personally like the Polarg Red bulbs. I'v seen them on AC's ride and it looks much better than the orange bulb.

I've got polarg hyperwhites too, I think they look tough......Looks even better with the polarg hyperwhite fog lights too.....And I haven't had any problems with the cops, not even with the blue mirror tint all the way around.....

I current have amber bulbs too.. Red would be nice, I haven't seen really good red bulbs yet..

It is illegal to have any other color besides yellow or red in the tail lights..

hyperwhites are great at night, but must not look so good in daylight..

I have some new bulbs that are gonna go in before the meet this Saturday. No more fried egg!!

It will make the tails look much better during the day, but still be fully functional during the night..

I'm putting them on tonight so I can show you guys this weekend..

Yech, one thing I liked about the TLs is that they do have amber lights in the rear. Red turn lights are tacky IMO.

I got a Polarg bulb for my rear blinkeers, M1 I think. It blinks yellow and looks fatty inside the clear tail.
