its computer controlled anyways, so you are not allowed to overrev the engine.

what ever speed you want...the whole point of ss is to allow you to choose whatever gear you want...with limitations set by the computerr on the car so wheat ever you can possible do...it wont mess up the car...cause the car wont let you do something bad

only if you bounce off the rev limiter like 30 times....and if your dumb enough to do that then "it wont do any harm"

I only use it to pass, or race...

I use the SS only to downshift and fly by them as they wonder how the fcuk a sedan can be blowing past them. Most recent "vistim" was a 93 Mustang. If he knew it was coming he would have been more prepared, but the look on his face was awesome

But to answre your question, I usually downshift as low as possible, floor it then shift just shy of red line. Rinse, repeat. For regular driving I stay in D5.

Thanks,

Joe

if it was that bad honda wouldnt allow you to do it! just play around with it. if it doesnt go into a lower gear that probably means you shouldnt be there in anyway. and the revlimiter is there to keep you from causing damage by overreving, so if you do hit it dont get scared.
