Cool How to remove dealer sticker

My TL still has a dealer sticker from the previous owner, and I was wondering how I can take the damn thing off. Don't want to make my TL a moving billboard. I read that a hairdryer does the trick, but wanted to check with you guys before I do it. Do any of you have a recommended method or any tips for me? Thanks!

Heat it up with a hair dryer, and peel it off. Use an adhesive remover to get the rest of the glue off, then wax the area.

nah, go to the dealer and ask for a check as you're basically advertising for them. THEN remove it after

what everyone said - heat, goo gone and claybar, and remember to wax the area after.

but leave the "egg harbor" on. that's gangsta. haha

I hate those F'n things. Some are REALLY ugly.

BTW - I got family in that area.

That's the 1st thing I would do when I get a car with the dealership decal.

Lil off topic but, it reminds me of when my dad was buying his last car and negotiating a price, they wouldn't go as low as he'd like, so he took their lowest offer and said he'd do it if they skipped putting the sticker on. The sales guy said no, the price would go up a few thousand because of the lack of advertisement

After a little more talking, they finally negotiated that they would not put the sticker on, and would only put a license plate frame on.

should've told them to put both on and lower the price, then take it off yourself at the dealership right in front of the dealer

WOW that sticker is fugly. I saw a brand new Corvette with a huge ugly Dealership decal right above the Corvette emblem....also had a dealer frame too. Those people are amazing how low they'll go to get their name out. I'd take the frame off....then put it on the most ugly junk car I could find....give the owner $20.00 just to put the frame on his car...LOL!

Every car I've bought, I've told the dealer that I do not want their advertisement crap on the car or I won't take it (after settling on final price).

I don't like advertising for some dealership!
