i called a dealership for a timming belt waterpump quote and he said the valve cover gaskets are also replaced at that time is this true?

 

A proper 105k service is what he was talking about- in which the valves are also adjusted as well as the replacement items
It will make your car run better- have it done
A perfectly adjusted valvetrain makes for a more efficient computer controlled car
Gas is expensive and getting worse!!!

A private shop will charge less labor$ per hour, just make sure they use real honda parts- they lasted this long- proof enough to stay brand loyal on these parts
If you like your dealer- use them- the tech will have done many of these before- not guessing their way thru it
NGK Iridium spark plugs suggested
Seafoam treatment a few days before will clean the engine inside
