How much?Quick PLEASE!

I'm getting ready to have my Mugen spoiler put on...how much should I expect to pay? I would do it myself...but if it comes out crooked I'll go insane.

Thanks guys!

Considering its only held on by tape it shouldnt take more than 30 min to do so look at paying what ever shop does it for 1 hr of shop labor.

Should have listend to you in the first place. I went back...was ignored...so I just drove off. The place smelled like a drug deal too. Every car shop I've been to has always been sketchy...WHY?

You could end up taking it to a shop where a drug induced idiot puts it on and it turns out crooked. Then you've paid the cash and are now going insane due to it being misaligned. So you take it back to get if fixed and they end up scratching your paint. So now it's a little better but not perfect, your paint is scratched, they deny they did it..you leave hating them and they hate you.

Do it yourself and take your time.

Send it to me.

Send me your body kit painted NBP...and your HID fogs.

I've been too busy studying M-Fri and on Saturday...you know just as well as me nothing gets done on Saturdays when our college teams play.

I guess this will be a Sunday operation, since I'm doing it personally.

Is double sided tape good enough to hold? I always thought that that was just there to stop the wing from rocking. I've always had bolts put in as well...

My buddy used to own an auto performance store and they guy who did all the painting and installing ALWAYS used bolts on top of the tape...

That tape is more than strong enough, Plus there is no were in the spoiler you can put bolts. It wasnt designed for them

Even more important than installing the spoiler is, cleaning the surface on your car to be mounted on. All that means is that you have to use a wax remover (liquid dish soap) or lots or alcohol. Then dry it with a lint free cloth. Then: if using the tape, get a buddy and a ruler/masking tape to outline a dry-fit (test fit without removing the tape backing) and then outline where it looks straight with masking tape. Then remove the backing and get your buddy to help you position it, offer him $10 or a beer or two. After that, gently remove the masking tape and you should have a 99.9995% perfect install.

Finally, wax the exposed areas around the spoiler that have come into contact with the dishwashing soap/alcohol with wax.

Voila, in 30, maybe 40mins you are all done.

I will try it this weekend!
