How much does it cost on average to re-paint front lip?
I freaking curbed the right side of my front lip. It is pretty bad. There are a couple of little gashes and the worst part is that the paint looks like it cracked a bit. How much should it cost me to re-paint just the front lip on average?

Fred3113,
Are you referring to the OEM lip piece or the underbody front lip piece? Your sig doesn't say that you have the underbody kit, so I'm assuming you meant the small factory lip that comes on the OEM bumper.

First of all you mentioned that the paint was busted and cracked inside. This means they will have to sand the lip down to its bear black plastic look. Then do the two stage painting process. Don't forget labor charges for taking off and intstalling it back. i estimate around 250-300 dollars. Thats getting it done by someone that knows what they are doing. Also ask your ins company about your comprehensive warranty. My uncle did his comprehensive down to 0 deductible, and did a claim similar to yours. Ins charged him $20 more for that month for doing his comprehrnsive to 0 deductible, and then he cancelled the 0 deductible after 1 month .v

They will only consider something is under comp only if some object fell off or fell down and made a damage on the upper portion of the vehicle...
If you ran into a object on the freeway, such as tire, and made a damage underneath the car, the insurance company will consider as collosion because the driver ran over and made a damage.. Of course, it's all depends on how it happen but just wanted to give you guys an idea....
