Did anyone install the steering wheel themselves? If so, can you hit me up some pointers.

 

DON'T DO IT!! If you set off the airbag, you will then have to buy a new one, or could get injured. Also, if you somehow screw it up, your warranty is voided, or you could get in an accident. It cost only $35 to have mine put on. Cheap for piece of mind.

 

How much does the wood steering wheel cost? Im interested in getting one too. Did you take yours to Acura dealer to let them install it or what?

 

$400 something for the wheel. I got mine from Mike (valueTL) before Tim sold them here. He has them in all three colors, so check it out!

 

TLWiz, are the wood wheels tim sells the 02 wood steering wheel, cuz that is much phatter, just not sure???

I dunno. Is there a difference? I think that they are exactly the same. It is the outer ring only, not the whole wheel. In other words, the airbag stays where it is.
