I do and I like them for now but they are no substitute for a tight factory finished light.

I have a set of Pilots on my car. If I had it to do over again I would have spent the extra money for the PIAAs.

I have the PIAA 1200s (Ion Crystal) like VDo. I think they're great, they shed yellow light with like a purplish trim under the bumper. I also had the PIAA 1100x Superwhites, those were really bright, too. They didn't match my HIDs that good though.

I also have the PIAA 1700x and they are bright as hell, almost HID like. I would definitely recommend it. It makes my car stand out.

How is the light output with the fogs? Do they look more blue than your head lamps?
Could you drive down the road with just the 930's?

Also what did you do with your headlight diffusers ? Cause if you want to sell them I will buy them.

Wink

I wouldn't recommend it at night...Cops can give you a ticket for driving with just the fogs...During the dust hours it looks phat, but at night i wouldn't risk the ticket...

all you with 1700 and 1900, how do u like your fogs. they seem to look great, but don't shoot too far out. i'm considering them and want advice. i'm more interested in hid look than light output in the end.

thanks for the help

Hey bobatimez, I have the PIAA 1700x and they are bright as hell. They almost match my HIDs. Sure the range isn't that far but that is what our HID headlights are for. If you think about it, most of today's foglights are for show. It really doesn't serve any other purpose because you can't drive with it alone at night without the headlights or else the cops will pull you over. But you also answer your own question. Since you are more interested in light output than distance, the PIAA 1700x is as close to HID as you are going to get. Hope this helps.

Just replaced my 1000x's with 1700x's in the fog light side holes. The installer cut just around the luns so it looks very stock. The fogs are sweet, more hid looking than the headlights. Too bad that they have almost no light coming out of them. I do miss my 1000x's, but you can't have everything.

Thankx, AccordV6er. Will try to post pics soon.

Sucks, that you have to take the good with the bad. I loved the color of the 1700x but it really is just for "show".

Now the 1000x are super ass bright but don't have that cool HID.

But I am happy with them
