How many keys did you get?

The Acura key is so lame... Lexus has a cool integrated key (very slick), Audi has the springloaded thingy, Mercedes has something like a card!!, BMW has a cool key like Lexus....its not a big deal but still its these little things that make Acura LAST in terms of luxury

I got three master (regular) keys, two remote fobs and one valet key. How'd I get the extra master key? Well I knew ahead of time that they cost about $100 to buy and I knew I'd want an extra one eventually if I (a) lose one, or (b) put a remote start in and they have to cut out the chip. So when it came time to close the deal on the car, I had pen in hand and said before I sign I want 10 oil filters and another master key. At that point they weren't going to let the deal walk away so that's what I got. For those of you about to buy, tell them you want another master key thrown in to seal the deal.

Have you looked inside the pouch w/ your owner's manual? If the valet key's not in there then defintely talk to your dealer.
Yeah ..... Acura could have done a much better job w/ the key. The plastic is extremely soft, despite the fact that I'm gentle w/ it it has already has scratches on it. The key that BMW uses is so much better (remote unit is integrated with the key). As someone pointed out its these small things that make the difference. With the BMW style key you don't have that annoying noise of the key hitting the sterring wheel column when you accelarate. Also the ignition should have been just under the gauges and not in the steering wheel column. Hate having to grope for it in the dark.

I got 3 1/2 keys...2 master keys, 1 valet key and 1 uncut programmed key b/c I knew that I was getting a remote start installed and was going to lose 1 key due to that. The dealership was cool about it, they didn't charge me for the uncut key.
