hi.. I've got a '99 TL guys, my tranny failed at around 45k miles.. acura said that my car wasn't covered, and showed me some paper with some coverage dates on it.. i don't know how ligetimate it was, but i really need to find out if my car is covered for the tranny or not..

where do I start?

Best thing to do is registering in the owners forum on acura.com. When you enter in your VIN, the recall information is automatically populated in the database. That information can be taken to your dealer as "straight from the horses mouth" information. They cannot refuse service if your car is listed as one that is covered.
