I have topped out at 143mph and it felt like I was floating on air....its a crazy experience.... Whats even crazier, was I was expecting it to have a governor to shut it down after 120 and it just kept going up.....

I have brand new tires, I got 4 of them in January. So I'm assuming it's balanced. Rim's are 17" . I am not dropped and I have no Idea about the suspension- Guessing not done in a long time. Any suggestion on having a smoother ride?

Accelerator all the way to the floor to maintain 100mph? You have engine issues. Vibration is probably engine related. It could be absolutely anything from a plugged exhaust to weak fuel pump.

motor mount?
just because you have "balanced" tires does not mean it will be smooth. I test drove a Honda element CPO and the dealer put brand new tires on it and it was terrible on interstate. If there cheap tires then they may not be smooth.

Missed that part. Is the check engine light on? Does the engine run smooth?

Runs pretty nicely going 100+

I agree with what "I Hate cars" said. Get the engine checked out asap if you have to floor it to maintain 100mph.

Mine rides great at 150+ i have done it a few times lately with the new tires and it was plenty stable but i am also comfortable at those speeds from riding the bike. It might not be your car except the having to keep it floored. That is a problem for sure but it riding rough might be in your head since you are used to cruising 50-80. the ride does change but it shouldnt be noticeable

wow, at 100mpg? Sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing 100mph, I'd think I'm doing 80-90 and I look up and i'm at 115! My MDX even hits 100 with ease, don't recommend it in SUV but it can be done.

yeah, could be motor mounts, wheel balance, alignment, or if you have oem shocks over 50k, it wont be able to handle at that speed smoothly.

My ride is rough all the time. Except on smooth roads....and high speeds. I hope it's normal. I feel every bump...big bumps feel like I hit something.

Normally, though I don't get up to that speed very often.

On my 2000 TL it gets up to 100 without any effort at all.

Okay I forgot to mention that I hit a pot hole on the way to school, Dented the rim a little bit? Got a new tire and the guy say its still balanced at 0.00.

I just got that fixed today (dent in rim), they said suspension looked fine, and i got my alignment fixed. I dunno it still doesn't feel right. any thoughts?

I had a tranny issue but AAMCO resolved that. a sensor went of a month ago and they replaced it. I don't think I have any engine issues... The guy said the front suspension looked fine and "tight.." SO, i don't know anymore.

, on the interstate i find myself having to pull my foot off the gas, it just seems to creep up to 100mph and beyond without me even feeling or knowing it. when i'm doing 90mph it feels soo smooth as if i'm doing 25mph

You can still have a full balance on a machine with a dented wheel. How? I have no idea, but I hit a HUGE pot hole and got the wheel balance since the tire ended up with a huge bulge. I found out after I took the tire off that the rim was bent on the inside. There is a place here in NJ that will do a rim swap for $90 so I did that and shaking went away.

it depends what wheel balancer they use, they probably used a regular COATS balancing machine which will balance the wheel out, get it road forced balanced which will be more accurate and wont balance out of round rims

Do you have it in SS mode or normal D5 while going +100?

Did it with the 5 speed too.

Though i am sick of the 150 limiter with the 6 speed now. It can hit it so easy its not funny. I really need to find a way to remove it.

130 is the fastest I've been and def rides clean. Scared the shit out of me though considering I totaled my previous 6th Gen AV6 Coupe speeding.

if you mess with that sensor the car goes into limp mode. You would have to have the ECU modified in some way.
