How difficult is removing the fron bumper?
IS it a DIY? Also, is it easy to install the OEM front lip spoiler (TL-S)?
My boss cracked into my front bumper, and cracked it. He is paying for it all, easy fix, just the bumper is cracked, but an expensive fix, new bumper and painted. He said give me an estimate and he'd write me a check. Well, if i could do it myself (install the bumper, I'd let a professional paint it) I might make a little money. And I figured what better time to get the front lip spoiler...if it isn't too difficult, that is.

Just a bolt in each wheelwell, then self-tapping fasteners on the bottom.
Once those are out, the bumper simply pops off. However, the grille is attached to the bumper by 3 self-tapping fasteners, so you will have to reach in and get those off.
Replace the bumper then secure it. And the front lip spoiler simply slides onto the bumper, held in by 2 screws on each side in the wheelwell area, and self-tapping fasteners on the bottom. But you will have to drill some holes for the fasteners. But it's very easy. It took me like 15 minutes to do the front lip, and this was when I had no clue about my TL.
It's a fun project, indeed.

By the way, you can get a front lip for like 280 shipped and painted from Tim at Ray Laks.
1-888-RAY-LAKS, and ask for Tim, the parts manager. He's a super cool guy with the best prices.
