Today I was off to work and I went to get onto the express way. I started to go down the on ramp and had to punch it to get in front of this 02 or 03 SSM TL-S.(JEALOUS) When I jumped on the pedal I got this hesitation. It was like 3 secs or so then it caught on and acceled. Has anyone had this problem and if so what was it or any ideas are welcome. BTW I have a 00 SSM TL-P with 110000 on the dash and original Tranny.

 

If nothing lit up on you I wouldnt worry too much

That is what mine did.. followed by sever jerking. I would be careful and stay close to home!.

Fuck it if someone wants to try you. If you lose are they going to come back and bring you home because your tranny went?

 

its prolly on its way out but its got some life left. dont down shift too much and dont beat on it

 

if its on its way out, going easy isnt gunna help.

 

Mine hesitates sometimes when I punch it because the computer doesn't react sometimes as we like...not a problem my tranny is from Japan

mine did that one time before also...scared the crap out of me and I almost got rear-ended. I was at a stoplight and started going then just nothing; the RPMs shot up to around 5k and it finally caught the gear and took off...kinda crazy. I have 112000 on the original tranny also. That was about 5k miles ago and nothing like that since. Who knows

 

I have a Dell laptop... and found it funny that when they did the big recall on the batteries... it was the Japanese ones that were bad. The ones made in China or Korea were fine. So much for Japanese quality.

 

It has only did it to me once. Plus I didnt have any jerking. It wasn't enough time for traffic to catch up to me. Just like it just didnt go. The RPMs didn't raise up either. I dont know. I guess only time will tell.

The differnce between mine and yours is that I was allready heading down the on ramp. I just needed to get a jump out and gunned and for a hot second nothing happend.
