Hood Struts

Has anyone tried hood struts by partsavenue on ebay? They're only about $46 shipped for a pair whereas OEM costs around $30 each.

aftermarket struts are usually fine
Have a friend help hold the hood as you change one at a time

I found some aftermarket ones after my hood fell shut a couple times at a show, they work great!

Try your local auto part shop ( AutoZone ). I got the pair for under $30. It's been 2+ year with no problem.
