Honda Part# for P/S Pump?

Acura OEM parts prices have increased significantly. My 2000 TL’s power steering pump needs replacement, but Acura wants nearly $900 for the pump. Can a Honda P/S pump work? If so, please share the Honda part number.

Thank you!

Why not just rebuild the pump buying just the seals?

Great advice. Never done that before. Any suggestions on how to do it properly? Thank you!

This DIY is for the 3rd gen TL, but look up your car's analogous parts on a website like oemacuraparts.com and follow the same

Good question.
Even if you wanted to consider a new OEM Honda model P/S pump equivalent, which the 00 AV6 is the closest to your 00 TL, you'd only get $8.25 in savings joy, lol.

The 00 TL P/S pump part # is

Four viable options.
Comb your local salvage yards for the year / model Acura's below & get lucky with a low dollar salvage unit?

Purchase everything OEM to rebuild your 25 y/o factory P/S pump @ roughly $102.59 before shipping / taxes / handling / rebuild time:

Roll the dice & consider one of the below replacements from rockauto (before shipping/taxes, before tariffs hit, lol!), throw it on, done, cross fingers.

Go OEM at those ridiculous prices.

i rebuilt mine and i'm a mechanical idiot. it's such a simple system, easily accessible, it was a bit satisfying to take apart, clean, and rebuild with new seals. lots of videos online will take you step-by-step.
