Talking Holy Shizt

I just got my car lowered on H&R Sport Springs!!!! I am in love. This is my first car that I have lowered and I will never have another car that is not lowered. I was very sceptical about doing it, but am very glad I did it. I know that the springs have to "settle" but the car looks sooooooooooooooo much better!! And it corners a lot better! I love it. I am trying to convince my friend who has a CL-S to do his. Thankyou everyone for all the advice and reassurance!!

How is the ride? Does if feel like stock? I am wondering because I wouldn't mind lowering mine, but I don't want to lose that comfy feel.

I havent noticed any ride quality diffrence. I love them the car looks a lot better and it corners much better. I paid 150 for the installation and 186 ish for the springs shipped from tire rack.

With the exception of a computer mod... you can do pretty much any modification you want to your car and you will NOT void your warranty. The only way your warranty can be voided is if the dealer can prove, without doubt, that the modified piece you added caused the problem that you're bringing the car in for. Proving that can be very tough and most dealers wouldn't even try to do that. I would say that 95% of the dealers probably wouldn't even say anything as long as the mod was installed correctly. I mean, if you made a do-it-yourself intake and the engine blew or something, they probably wouldn't honor the warranty then, but adding mods made for our car shouldn't be a problem.

The sport springs are 25 - 30% stiffer than stock, you'll get some ride penalty.

If you liked the affect of the springs try the comptech sway bars (no ride penalty), you'll like them even more. Its a do it yourself project that will only take a couple of hours.

By the way you could have got the springs from this site for $169, help support this site.

Your right I could have gotten the springs for 169 but then who is going to pay for shipping. I have no problem in supporting this site as long as I am not getting ripped off. I am very greatful to this site.

Thanks In Advance.

Kegrun:
I'm putting my sports in this week...systek has his....the ride quality is IMPROVED...no more bounciness and crazy body roll...but honestly my neuspeed sways took care of that Especially the rear behemoth.

Kegrun,
Congrats. I'm looking forward to install springs on my CL-S. The only thing has me worried is how long the stock struts is gonna live and the tire wear.

Austin,
Are you sure you are gonna put in the springs this week? If not, how about next Sat (not this Sat). I'm getting my springs late this week or early next week. We can do springs together as we talked about. Heck, I don't think you remember anyway. Your long term memory is as good as sh!t .

Let me know, bud.

I don't think I have heard of anyone being unhappy with the Comptech's, they are supposed to be the Motorsports for Acura's. I really like them, you can do the install yourself only takes a couple of hours.

Also since your in FL, you would have had to pay 6% tax even though the springs would not ship from FL.
