Question Hmm Transmission *clacking* Noise??

Alright, i'm backing out of my level driveway alright and onto my street, i put my foot on the brake, and the car is at a complete stop, i then move the shifter from R to N then to D5. i let my foot off the brake and the car rolls forward a little bit before engaging, then it will make a clacking noise. its weird, you can't feel it at all not through the pedal or anything, but you can hear it with the window down, and it is more of a clack than a clunk noise. i didn't notice before i just started noticing it within the last couple of months. anyone know what i'm talking about? haha i know the "tranny" topic is pretty hot right now, and i'm sure you all are sick of hearing about it, i was just wondering if anyone knew what it was.. i have warranty, its all good, if the dealer can't 'duplicate' noise.. i'll just threaten to come down there and drive the car up his a$$. i did that at an infiniti dealership when they couldn't duplicate a bad shock in the front of the car. it got fixed haha

Regarding the clacking sound thats pretty normal, but the few seconds that it takes to engage may be a problem. I noticed my car(when its cold) kicks as the gears change. But thats normal too.

Try changing your transmission fluid.
