High Beams w/ HID
Just curious... when ur highbeams come on....
Do the HID's stay lit? or do just the high beams come on?
Cuz the TL uses 9005's...
The Crown Vic I rented had 9005's for high beams and the low beams where I dunno... but the low beams lit up sides and direct front well... the high beams really lit up far off, those were GREAT headlights.... but if only the 9005's came on the Crown Vic it wouldnt have been so good...??

The HID's will stay lit, but your fogs wil turn off like Mr. Hyde said because they are wired into the whole headlight unit. Aftermarket fogs will stay on.
Just turn your lights on click on the high beans and get out of the car. You'll see from there. I never noticed how much yellower they are until I did that.

Just turn your lights on click on the high beans and get out of the car. You'll see from there. I never noticed how much yellower they are until I did that.

In some areas, it is illegal to have the fogs/driving lights on with the highbeams, check local rules. That's why on the factory setup, they turn off with the brights.
