HID's?

Hey guys - do you think that these HID's would do well in my '02-s?

Seems to be a ridiculously low price for 2 of them....

I would go with 6k and probably with more of a reputable brand but thats just my preference but who knows it could work out nicely also.

8000k is too high a color for us- its way too blue for usefullness as a real headlight
Kaixen 6000k is what you want for killer lights that help you see better and look good~

FYI. The link is for the wrong bulb. It's supposed to be the D2R bulbs.

I just read the description that says it will work for both D2R and D2S applications. Won't that cause a glare to oncoming traffic?

01tl4tl, i've been reading so much about your kaixen bulbs and how bright, on the road that is, you say they are. Do you have any pics with it so we can see?

If you read the fine print you will learn that these ARE the correct replacement for our cars.
Inside the housing itself is a special bulb tip cover- there is NO issue with glare to other drivers! If anything its easier on their eyes!!
Like many parts with different numbers- these are aftermarket replacements that replace 2 types at once

Will get some pics- been waiting to get 100 hours of use on them so totally stabilized in color and briteness

Anything above 4300k will annoy other drivers as the light will be shining all over the place and not as focused (look it up); it annoys the hell out of me.

It's not hard to change the lights, more annoying. I have an 02 and just changed mine (got 2 4300k for $77).
You just have to remove the one bolt on the washer fluid on the passenger side.
The driver side is a pain cause you have to remove the battery and the air filter, but once out it is easier than passenger side.

Once the cover is removed, just remove the plug before uncliping the old blub, insert new blub, reset clip, plug in again.

I got my info from DIY's on this forum.
