HID replacement
HID replacement
one of my headlights recently went out and i'm hoping its just the bulb. was is the easiest way to test when you don't have another working bulb? also, the dealer wants $131 for a new bulb. is there a cheaper place to get a compatible bulb that is the same k...don't want a higher k bulb to burn out in a couple of months. anyone know of nicer looking HIDs that are compatible with stock 02 tl type s harness and transformer?
thanks
bear with me...i'm new at this

take the burnt bulb out and put it in the other side and see if it lights up..
i do'nt know the sites, but others do,, get it online for much cheaper.. you just have to get d2r bulbs. any kelvin will work. but 99% of us dont recommend to go higher than 6000. good luck and others will chime in.
oh, keep in mind that if you do change your kelvin, remember to change the other one too!

becareful not to touch the bulbs with your hands.
You can go with D2R or D2C bulbs. Do what whatshwasthat suggested, just just swap the bulbs to see whats going on.
BECAREFUL, its a very high voltage going thru it, wear cotton gloves or something similar when handling the bulbs.
g00d luck. (and do not waste money on stock bulbs, also, if the bulb is burnt, u must get 2 new identical bulbs to match the colour and the output...and yeah, and u should stick to the range of 4300-6000K (yellowish-whitish blue)
