Hid Headlight Burned Out!! Help

My HID burned out on the passenger side, is this normal? Do i go out to the store and buy a normal bulb for my car? and my HIDS will be back? or do i have to actually go to the dealer and spend a massive amount of money? And how do yu take out the headlight so i can look at it, i took off the screw on top of the headlight, but it seems like tehre are more screws holding it on.. is this true? If anyone can help me out that would be greatful, and one more question, does the mantiance required light come on if yu have a burned out headlight and tail light? or does that mean i need the engine to be checked?

To take out the bulb, you don't need to take off the headlight.

If it is your bulbs, remember to replace them together as a pair. The new bulb won't match your old bulb in color so to keep the "look" of HIDs, replace both. Ebay is a good place to get bulbs, but just be sure to get quality bulbs and check for fakes.

its $136.xx for a new bulb at the dealer. although i think you can get some 6000ks HIDs on ebay for about the same and upgrade. i had to get a new inverter when my bulb went about two years ago so it was an extra $260.xx

As was stated above just swap the bulb. If the bulb comes on the current side that isn't working then it's your bulb. Bulbs should be replaced in pairs. If you need a set of HID bulbs PM me. I sell KAIXEN bulbs.
