HID Fog Light Conversion 2nd gen

Is it hard to use this kit featured on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

on the stock foglights of the 2nd gen TL, can anyone give instructions? and/or post pics?

By the looks of the bulb itself you would have to do some serious mods to it to make it fit into the stock housing. Doing a search on this topic (HID fog conversion) will yield a couple near complete DIY's.

that would most definately work..its a plug n play HID kit...you may have to do a little new wiring to power them....but it will work perfectly.. two of my friends just had kits similar to these installed this weekend.

This is jsut plug and play. The plug that comes with the fog is for a 9006 which is the smae as our fog lights. Its easy as hell. You jsut have to hide the balllast. When I had HID fogs I hid the ballast in the bar that is in the front of out car. Its a good hiding place but you wont have any truolbe with these.

It is pretty much plug and play for these. I've installed about 10 of these and you can throw the ballasts right under the OEM ballasts.

I will just say, be weary of the brand that is all otherwise GO FOR IT!!

Philips kits and/or Hella ballasts. The ballasts are more important than the bulbs. Philips bulbs are the best on the market. OSRAM as well. You can get bulbs cheaper than you can find ballasts so that is what I suggest.

You can also get OEM ballasts for the regular low beams. They work but a little harder to mount.
