Hi, new guy here with a question

I joined this forum not too long ago while researching parts for my ka9 rl. I introduced myself on there first then just found out there is a tl section as well. I have had my tl since highschool and just picked up an rl as well.

Iave a small question and I hope I don't sound bad asking it. How do you remove the aero side skirt. I've removed the screws attached to the underbody but I can't seem to figure out how to take them off. Sorry but I forgot since its been 8 years. I removed the front and rear lip very easily.

umm..

easiest way i did was...

unscrew everything.. underisde.. maybe few on front.. and then.. raise the rear.. take off rear wheel... place a few towels on the rear of the skirt and give it a nice whack with a hammer...

it should then just pop forward and fall

here's a link to directions from acura.

what others have recommended was putting a 2x4? wood and just wedging it against the rear wheel to push the rear end of the skirt...... idk.. something like that.

Yeah I was thinking about that, but was afraid the skirt might mishape or even worse, crack.

I am selling it but I will wait until I am fully allowed to post in the black market according to the rules. Thanks for all the info guys!

When I removed my standard OE side skirts I had to lay on the ground, grab one of the mounting tabs from underneath, and pushed off the tire with my foot to give me enough leverage. Even then I had a hell of time getting it off.
