Heres a good one!! Help Me Out

Is there any way to add a intercooler to my Type-S engine, would it help with anything?

Im asking if its actually possible to add it with no turbo or supercharger, just somehow make one run to the air intake place

One more wierd question, is there any way to add a BOV to a intake system to get that turbo-ish sound? maybe weld a place for it on the piping, but would you actually hear the wooosh!

Im not trying to be a poser, so dont flame me, im just curious if it could be done, and if the intercooler would help with anything

I remember there is a FMIS for civics, integs and stuff but I dont know about TL's and about the BOV you cant get that without having that forced induction produce large amounts of pressure.

You technically could add an intercooler. I don't know about a BOV...I don't know...it would be poser, though.'

Definitely

Well i was thinking, if you put the intercooler, and so that would push alot more air through the tubes, so therefor it would be bigger pressure coming through, so maybe a BOV would work just not as loud, what do you guys think?

A turbo has a turbine that compresses the air into the intake...if you just put a intercooler wont do the job.

Would a fmic actually produce any real benefits over having a good cai or a comptech ib?
I don't really believe it would simply because there's no need for the extra cooling.

No, it would probably hurt power though

The intercooler is a device to cool pressurized air. Since there is No turbo to pressurize the air the air isnt being heated. There would be no need for a intercooler. There is nothing pushing air into your motor. Your motor is a Vacuum and is sucking air.
Same goes for a BOV. You arent sending pressurized air into your motor so there is no need for a BOV nor would one work. When you close your Throttle Body (let off the gas) the Vacuum stops, which stops drawing air into the motor.
