so today i drove my car this morning to the bank and it was perfectly fine. now that i was leaving out to go to work i started the car and theres a louddddd whistling whining noise. thing sounds horrible. i looked everywhere and the noise is so loud i just cant figure out where its coming from. has anyone had this problems or suggestions as to what this could be?

yes it sounds like that but my rpm is perfectly fine. its not jumping up and down like that

 

also my car isnt throwing any codes but its exactly like that

 

Any work done recently on the engine ?
Check all vacuum tubes attached to the intake manifold.

 

Nothing has Been touched under the hood. Tomorrow I'll try to check more on where the noise is coming from in the day time

 

It's just loud though. Just like in the video u sent me

 

thats the sound it makes. sorry i just took it at night. thats with the hood closed then even louder as the hood is opened

 

i just hope it isnt something serious but i want to fix asap. hopefully this happened to someone already and they found a fix

 

If the sound is present at all times.....with motor idling or running at a higher rpm, it shouldn't be difficult to isolate the source with the hood opened up. Check all the T-body intake vac lines as previously suggested. Check the air filter and also the drive belt pulleys and tensioner.

Try to narrow it down to a specific area.....LHS, RHS or top front/back.

 

I fixed it. It was a loose bolt on the egr cover on the top. I tightened them up and the noise went right away. Small stupid things man lol. Happy it's fixed now though!
