Question Help w/ Nav. Trim Bezel

First post here, nice site yall have. Anyway I just purchased an 02 TL-S and everything is great except the trim piece around the Nav. screen. The previous owner has scratched all around the screen and the gold script is scraped off. Anyhow I was wondering if the plastic trim piece could be purchased and where. The dealer told me something like I would have to order a whole new screen $$$. Thanks guys.

if it's the inner trim (attached to the screen) the dealer is right. Your best bet is to hit a junk yard or see if you can locate a broken screen and take apart the screen and swap the trim

You'd have to order the whole screen. They do not sell just the bezel.

Thanks guys, I just thought the Acura engineers would have thought about that being a high-traffic area and made the surround easy to replace.

Yeah that and the screen cover would have been nice.
