Hey, to help me and of course all of those interested. I want to paint my engine plastic cover a different color. I painted it with a Dupli-Color 500*F spray paint (engine enamel ceramic). Before i even attempt at removing it, i'd like to know the best way to do it withought messing up. I also dont know if i should just simply spray over the old darker color.

I have some of the graffity remover i used to (de)Chrome my shift plate, but i dont know if that would work...I used a white Sandable Primer under the colored coat.
