hey guys my navigation code doesnt work for my navigation system. i have the anti-theif card but for some reason when i enter the navi code it saids "incorrect pin" . i called the dealer and they wanted $100 for diagnostic. i feel that if i have the anti-theif card theres no reason for it not to work. is there anything i can do without goin to the dealership for help.?

im getting really frustraded on this car. and now im thinking about selling it. i bought the car thinking it was a reliable car since its by Honda so we bought it without any warranty(my sisters bf idea and told us we didnt need it) so after about 1 month of driving it the check engine light came on(p0420 code) i think. so i replaced the o2 senser thinking it will fix it but NO. at this point i dont even care anymore, everytime the check engine light comes on i just pull the negetive and reset the ecu. and now my navi dont even work, it just feels like im having more and more problems with the car so now im thinking about trading it. on top of all this im getting about 260 miles to a full tank . this car is just draining my wallet. what should i do???? any help appricated thanks for taking ur time to read my lame story.

 

first let me welcome you to the forum...look for another dealer in your area. I got a 99TL also and my local dealer got me the navi codes for free. The anti-theft card may not be for your car (I assume you bought it used). The dealer will look up the serial number of your navi unit to get the codes (unfortunately it's at the back of the navi screen). Regarding the p0420 code, do a search. I'm not so sure but I think the egr port needs cleaning. Regarding mpg, try using redline fuel injector cleaners (available at Pepboys). Do a search on this and you'll see satisfied owners. I'm getting 320 mi per fill-up and I haven't used the entire bottle yet (1 bottle per 100 gal). I'm also using this for my 91 Accord and my mpg jumped from 300 to almost 380.
