VTEC Indicator Light?

Ok maybe this was a dream or I saw it on another car forum, but has anyone done a VTEC indicator so when VTEC kicks in, an indicator light comes on? I know it's been done on integs, and it should be pretty easy - just taking a signal from the engine computer, but has anyone done it on a TL or is there a DIY (I did a search - none)?

It was old the old acura-tl.com. The DIY started out with "Ok I know this is so rice..." so I stopped reading after that

Heres the link http://store.acura-tl.com/faq/faq.php

Why put the light, when you can just get a CAI and hear it engage.
