Search for "INTAKE MANIFOLD COVER". You might be able to find it in a junkyard i suppose. Good luck.

Contact Tim at honda curaworld.com He also can get the silver A for the cover in case you broke it while removing it.

BTW, on the '99, the entire section with the lettering and the silver A pops out. The upper side of the section has three 'snaps' while the lower side has three 'hinges'. I personally think the section looks best if you tape over the 3.2, VTEC and ULEV so they stay silver. It's a bit of a pain to do though. Otherwise, leaving that section black looks better than painting over everything. Again, IMO.

While I'm thinking of it NYZGREATST, the center section of the top engine cover comes out, too.

yea the letter part comes back also. what i wanted to do was paint that background red and paint the letters white. i didnt have any tape so i remember one member saying you can use vaseline to cover it. i tried it and it was a realllll mess. i tried one last thing tonight. i used paint thinner to remove the grey primer. then i used realllly rough sandpaper and scorched the hell out of the whole thing and then wet sanded. now its smooth as a baby's butt EXCEPT that area with the letteing. so im def gonna need that piece. thanks alot fellas

The only way I could think of to get the Vaseline on neatly was to use a Q Tip and only use a very small amount of Vaseline to lightly coat each letter. Decided the odds of me getting that to work was slim to none, so I used black electrical tape. Regular masking tape would not stick, Scotch tape was too thin and being clear, it was too hard to tell if I had the letter covered and duct tape was too thick. Then I used an Xacto knife to trim the excess tape.
