How do i check my CEL code?
but anyways....here's my story.... i was heading down to westheimer to meet up friends to play some ppool....its raining pretty hard ....so i drive pretty slow....as i get to the slicks....my gf wants to leave to get some food so i take her and as i pull out (still raining pretty hard) i noticed my VSA ! light blinking...and im not even flooring the car and the car shifts funny and then the VSA LIGHT and the CHECK ENGINE and the ! light ALL stay on!? im FREAKING out.....im thinking i sucked up water but i didnt go thru any deep puddles and my car didnt shut off or ne th ing. and my car isnt even DROPPED yet. so im freaking out and i get to the place. turn off the car go in and come out..turn the car on and the VSA light turns off but the CEL is still on? whats going on? i JUST bought my car!!! not even 3 weeks ago!! please dont tell me its cuz of the AEM CAI?

 

Transmission... Call your dealership and make an appointment.

if i bring it in w/ the CAI will they void my warranty or anythign or try to bull **** me?

 

not unless they can prove the damage was from the cai, if not then no, especially if its your transmission.

No, they cannot. First off, they can't just void your warranty simply due to the presence of a modification. They must prove first that the modification is what's causing the problem.

yea, put the stock airbox in and take it to the dealer. hopefully, you didnt suck in any water.

 

Easiest way to check would've been to make sure the filter is not wet.

 

hrmm okay guys whats the deal.....my check engine JUST turned off today? err? and i dont think its the tranny cuz it still drives okay? what might it be?

well i brought mine in for the tranny with the CAI...no issures what soo ever..
oh yea about that houston flood my car hydrolock on meh friday night..and i just had the new tranny for a week...hehe...damn houston..alwayz flooding
