Is this the correct trans for my 01 acura tl av6 swap

 

I wouldn't go for that. They fail to provide a part or transmission number and the pictures they include show the spin-on filter/oil jet kit indicative that this is just a retrofitted Acura TL transmission; not an Accord V6 (AV6) BAYA transmission.

I took a look at the site you have listed there; if the pics are accurate; it has the oem transmission cooler lines which lead me believe it's a transmission from an Odyssey; which has the same rate of failure as the Acura TL.

 

I got it and installed It. Everything looked good besides the the torque converter not lining up. But changed everything including the plate

 

So the JDM trans above is working, with no problems?
Please specify which torque converter and plate you used.

 

So you were told not to get it and got it anyway. You had to reuse your TL torque convertor, which is advised against in the FAQ. I too like to live dangerously.
