Question HELP! Amp installation question

I tried a search but didn't get many results. I've still got the factory HU and I'm replacing the factory sub with an aftermarket sub and I want to connect my amp. I've got everything else figured out but I need to know how to connect the remote turn-on lead without running a wire all the way to the stereo and having to take apart the dash to connect it to the wire lead on the factory harness. Anybody know a nice easy shortcut I can use? Any help is much appreciated.

This stuff needs to be posted in the A/V forum. You'll get much quicker response. And your answers are all there already.

Thanks Cliff for directing traffic.
