Helms Manual Help Needed

Can someone post the pages of a helms manual showing the replacement of the front motor mount in our cars please? even if it's for 00-03 I am sure it will be the same. I will be changing mine on friday.

thanks.

ITs really not in there. (good pics) Basically you remove the top bolt on the motor mount bracket. Place a jack under the motor, remove the 3 bolts that hold the bracket to the motor, remove teh 4 bolts for the mount. Disconnect the vacuum tube to the mount and remove the mount. Reverse order for installation

I am going to be replacing the mount tomorrow and I just want to make sure I have everything figured out correctly so it goes smooth and doesn't take me forever.

1. remove top bolt on mount'
2. jack up engine using block of wood between jack and oil pan
3. remove the 4 bolts on the base of the mount, remove vacuum hose from bottom of mount
4. slide out old broken mount
5. slide new mount in
6. tighten all 4 bolts on base of the mount
7. lower jack
8. tighten top bolt on the top of the mount

Let me know if I am missing anything or if there is anything I should watch out for while doing this, common problems, hassles, etc. This is the first time I will have changed an engine mount in my life and I am confident I can do this no problem at all, but want to be sure I do it right.

Thanks.

That pretty much hits it on the head. I replaced front and side and that is exactly how it worked. Loosen, lift, remove, replace, drop, tighten.

i changed it today and I did have to remove the mount bracket to get it out. it wasn't that hard and now my car does run smoother and my SOTP meter is reading much better response and overall acceleration is noticeably improved.

No, its already in it and sealed. If it leaks it out then the mount is bad

cool, no leaks, when I took the old mount off fluid was spilling out of it, is that why the old mount was bad?
