Lightbulb Headlights...

Hey Guys,

I have a 02 TL-P WDP anyways...I was wondering why all the newer generations of our cars headlights are so much brighter??

I was parked next to an 05 TL-P and both of our lights were on and it seemed like my weren't shit compared to her's, and I even have after market fogs as well..anyone have ideas? ...different bulbs?

Thanks

both use the same hid bulb from the factory if im not mistaken...

the newer models have two sets of headlights running at once too dont they... i always see a set of blue and yellowish lights on at once.. (4 bulbs)

that could be why.. but their HID bulbs arent in any way superior...
are you bulbs old.. or dimming

Our 2G TL's are using light reflector for the HID headlights, whereas starting from 3G, all newer TL's are using projector lens for the HID headlights. Projector lens type HID's are significantly brighter and are widely used by almost all car makers which offer HID headlights.

its the projectors.
best thing you can do is modify your housings with 3g tl, s2k, etc... projectors to increase visiblilty.

if you don't want to go through all that work, you can buy some phillips or kaixen bulbs from our vendors. they are significantly brighter than oem bulbs.

If money's no object, good luck and post pics when it's done!

If you want to save some money, try getting new bulbs...
