Headlight alignment

Ok.. so i just installed my new bulbs in yesterday. When i went to align them up against a wall, i noticed there isn't like..i dont know how to say it..but like there isn't a clear "cut off" where the light is. Or there wasn't a cut off in the first place? I kept playing around with aligning them but it seems there is no cut off. I'll post up a pic later to let you guys see what i mean.

Does it have anything to do with the reflector or anything like that? Also, is there a certain way the bulb is supposed to be positioned? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

the new bulbs MUST go in the exact same way the old ones came out
You can tell by the external electrode- use that as a referance

DO NOT twist the bulb to change position- it will damage that electrode!
Remove bulb- rototae in hand- reinsert in correct position
Place metal arm clip in place and locked-
Done

would that fix the "cut off" part also? When i went to face the wall, the lights were just like a big blur. Wasn't sharp or clear at all...

I didn't, i wore a rubber glove. Not sure if that's a good idea or a bad one but i dont want to burn my hand...but would touching the bulb with my bare hand make the light output worse?

Oils from your fingers contaminate the glass which may lead to early failure. If you already touched them gently wipe clean w/ alcohol.
