Headers and Intakes

I keep seeing that DC headers are best for the 2002 Acura TLS but I can’t seem to find them or any headers for this car. Are the DC headers discontinued? I could go with some eBay ones but idk if that’s the right but I’m leaning there either way. Also for the exhaust system, there’s like a 800 dollar kit from Tanabe, what do you guys think? Either that one or I could build my own and slap some borla or magnaflow mufflers. I’m not really looking for performance I just want a nice cruiser because if I wanted that I’d just swap it, but anything helps thanks!

DC Sports are discontinued. They aren't even listed on their website any more. I did find one website the other day that is selling them, but I don't know if they have them in stock or if they just haven't updated their website. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links, so if you want, I'll PM it to you. There is another brand supplying headers for our cars now though. I think they're called 'Manzo'? They're cheaper than DC Sports were when I bought mine. Worth checking out.

Other than that, I'm currently tackling the exhaust dilemma right now. I just bought a 3 inch Aluminized steel exhaust from Trubendz. It requires having the flanges & hangers welded on, and provides clamps to connect the tubing. Going to have to supply your own muffler(s) and resonator. I plan on having a shop install everything for me come Saturday. This is just one route you can take, and it might even come out more expensive than just buying a full bolt on kit like Tanabe's. Choice is yours really.

Try searching for a v6 honda accord. It should give you a few more websites that might have them actually listed. In the short time I've had mine and searched for stuff it seems easier finding cl and accord stuff that fits the tl too

I’m not too fond with Honda motors but are the accord headers really bolt on to Acura ones? So 02 headers from an accord will fit with my 02 TL?

Your 02 TL is nothing but a fancy Accord made by Acura!

You could probably get a cheaper quote from mechanics by telling them you have an accord, and then show up with the Acura. Don't think it'd go over to well though, lol.
