Anyone have headers on their TL-S? I have done just about all the mods besides headers. Any gain in HP? Comptech the best?

 

i htink if youd want to feel the maximum gain it is recommended u get Intake/Headers/Exhaust system. But from what ive heard ull definately feel the increase in power, your choices for headers are Comptech, OBX, or Stone. btw, where bouts in Sac are u? im in Elk Grove.

 

header will give u the most increase in top end than any other mod u have done

 

Headers compliment VTECH well

 

definitely, my baby cousin loves VTECH toys, they are his favorite.

comptech headers are the best, obx are a great (cheaper) alternative

 

Comptech goes for about a grand.

Stone Racing goes for 400 shipped.

OBX goes for about 340 shipped.


Comptech is undoubtedly the best you can get. Welds are done beautifully and the headers themselves have very small chance of being defective.

Stone Racing is pretty good, and Nashua on A-CL is working on the group buy, but it's coming slow.

OBX is decent, but some members on the forums have had problems with the welds breaking. But it is the cheapest of the bunch.


If you've got the money, go Comptech. If you want to save a few bucks, wait for the Stone Racing, or get the OBX.
