Question headers

this may be a dumb question, but whats the noise difference with the addition of headers? i'm running a CAI already, and don't plan on adding an exhaust. is the header sound similar to an exhaust? will it be quieter if i keep my stock exhaust on?

i basically want the car relatively quiet, it has to act somewhat civilized for work purposes, but i want to get as much power as i can for the weekends.

can these be installed by myself? i.e. no welding involved?

thanks for the help.

From what I understand the headers will not add any sound and even if it does you will not hear it over the CAI. I believe the headers can be installed yourself, if you have the right tools (I think you need a lift to get under the car). No welding involved.
