I like the headers. I feel like it is a three stage upgrade for performance: Intake, Headers, and Exhaust.
Next is suspension: Tires, Springs, and Swaybars
And of course appearence: Rims, Kits, etc.
PS- you need to work on the photo in your sig.......

I have to agree with Rice...your engine will breathe much better thus giving you better gas mileage. Now, obviously, if you gun it you'll use a lot of gas. This applies to every car. Combo of intake, headers, and exhaust I believe gives you better gas mileage as I was told by many people in the past. I'm only getting like 14mpg or so cuz I'm a "RICER KILLER"

Everytime you use more power, it uses gas.
Having said that, Intake/ Header/ Exhaust will give you better fuel efficiency so long as you don't use the extra hp provided with them. What happens is that I/H/E gives you better air flow and gives more hp... so it takes less hp for you to go the same speed. If you go faster because you have the extra hp, then THAT uses gas and your fuel efficiency will suffer.
It all makes sense really.
BTW, if you are getting the header, don't just get the header but go all the way out and get intake and exhaust also. You want to have as smooth of air flow as possible.

I know that my headers didn't change my gas mileage one bit in either direction.
Putting on sticky 225 tires did, however, drop my mileage per tank by about 20 miles!

I think I'll have to agree with you on that. After I put on the 225 rubbers, I noticed my mpg decrease, but then I drive like a madman anyways!
